ADULT LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Adult learning opportunities are provided to motivate and inspire Girl Scout volunteers and staff with resources, techniques, and strategies to utilize when working with girls. 

Course sessions and workshops provide participants with an opportunity to share best practices and ideas, to develop skills and learn effective use of council and national program resources. Training calendars are updated yearly with information about course availability; courses are frequently added throughout the year.

Included in the calendar are all classes during that season, dates, times and locations.  Adult learning opportunities are delivered by skilled volunteers and council staff who have been instructed in how to train adult learners effectively. Council reserves the right to change course content, course delivery, and training schedule as needed, based on the needs of our council volunteers.  Every measure will be taken to ensure council volunteers are informed of updates in the schedule of our adult education program.
