2nd Annual First Light Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl Parade Clothing Drive
(El Paso, Las Cruces, Silver City, and Deming)
The Sun Bowl Association, First Light Credit Union, and Goodwill Industries are partnering with non-profits and businesses to collect as much clothing as possible. The organization/company that collects the highest poundage of clothing will be awarded the use of a pre-built parade float valued at $10,000! What this means for us is that GSDSW can be in the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade and will have exposure to over 300,000 people in the El Paso, West Texas, and Southern New Mexico area.

Your Lid Matters
(El Paso)
Through October 31, Yoplait yogurt will feature the special “Save Lids to Save Lives” lids on their yogurt. For each lid that is redeemed online Yoplait will donate .10 cents, plus an additional .10 for each lid mailed in, to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Our Affiliate will receive proceeds based on the number of lids that are collected within El Paso.
