Ways to Give

At Girl Scouts, we know that when given the opportunity, girls change the world. We have the reach and experience to help girls everywhere take the lead like a Girl Scout, and we're committed to ensuring every girl reaches her fullest potential.

Your investment will help us bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to more girls, enabling them to become go-getters, innovators, risk-takers, and leaders who make the world a better place.

For more information please contact Patty Craven, Chief Executive Officer at (915) 671-2233 or via e-mail.

Opportunity Fund

The Opportunity Fund is an opportunity for families and friends of Girl Scouts to make a financial contribution to directly benefit the girls. As a member of our Girl Scout family, you know how important Girl Scouting is to girls, their families, and the community. Girls need a place where they can just be girls — having fun, making friends, and feeling safe. Girl Scouting provides girls with the skills to face daily challenges and make sound decisions that affect them today and in the future. A girl’s life can be forever changed through your commitment to invest in girls. Click here to donate!

Camperships

By making a donation to the Campership Fund, you will provide a girl who would otherwise be unable to attend camp – a priceless outdoor experience. Each year, we receive countless requests for financial help. In order to meet the increasing demand to provide opportunities for camp to as many girls as possible we turn to you, our friends, and ask for your support. Click here to send a girl to camp!

Corporate Giving

This campaign is focused on major corporations and foundations in our region. Volunteer committee members and Girl Scout staff members work together to locate, research and solicit major philanthropic funding sources in Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest's jurisdiction. Corporate philanthropy plays a key role in ensuring that the programs of GSDSW remain affordable, noteworthy and accessible. The council welcomes gifts from corporations, corporate foundations, employee matching gift programs and small businesses.

Tribute Gifts

A Tribute gift is a lasting way to honor the people who have touched your life. Tributes are contributions made to the council in honor of a birthday, an anniversary, Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, or other special occasion. Memorials are contributions made to remember a loved one. The council will send acknowledgements to both the donor and the individual or surviving relative for whom the tribute or memorial was made, although the letter to the person honored or relatives will not name the amount of the gift.
