Update on In-Person Meetings

Attention All Volunteers,

New Mexico Girl Scout Members: Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced on Tuesday that the state of NM will be going back to no mass gatherings more than five (5) individuals. All property rentals in NM will be canceled until further notice. All in-person events will need to be canceled for troops residing in NM. https://www.newmexico.gov/2020/10/13/gov-announces-renewed-public-health-regulations-reiterates-that-more-will-come-if-alarming-rise-of-covid-19-is-not-slowed/

Texas Girl Scout Members: Currently, Gov. Greg Abbott has continued with the groups of 10 or less with minimal in-person contact with others not in the individual's household. Maintaining 6 feet of separation from individuals must continue to occur. Additionally, remember that all of the state, county or Council guidelines MUST be met. The prevailing guideline will be the most stringent. https://www.dshs.state.tx.us/coronavirus/opentexas.aspx

I know this is a setback for all of our Girl Scouts and we all hope there is a vaccine coming soon. Until then, it is important that we all keep our family, friends, troops and community as safe from the illness as possible. Please do your part by continuing the use of masks anytime outside of your home, washing your hands frequently and maintaining the six feet of separation. Additionally, if you are able to meet in your area, meet outdoors as much as possible.
