Come howl with us in the Lincoln National Forest in the mountains of New Mexico!
 

You will join Girl Scouts from around our council to forge new friendships, explore new activities, have new adventures, but most of all celebrate being a Girl Scout!

For the younger girls there will be hiking, Ga-ga ball, star gazing, challenge courses, a mini-golf tournament, and much more!

For the older girls there will hiking, zip line, rock wall climbing, high ropes, challenge courses, volleyball/basketball, and much more!
 

NOTE: All participants must be registered Girl Scouts in good standing. This is not a family event - only troop leaders or one parent per girl. Parents/attending adults (anyone 18 and older) MUST be registered Girl Scouts and have a clean background check by registration deadline. Troop leaders - if you are coming as a troop, remember you must make ratio.
 

Total cost is $180 per person.

If you will be using Desert Dollars, please pay the $50 deposit and take the Desert Dollars to your local Girl Scout shop or mail them to GSDSW - Howl at the Moon, 225 E Idaho, Ste 9, Las Cruces, NM 88005. Include your name, your Girl Scout's name, and contact telephone number in case we have any questions. We must have the Desert Dollars by April 15, 2024.
 

If you will be applying for Financial Assistance, please pay the $50 deposit and email info@gwdsw.org requesting a Financial Assistance form. Complete the form and return it to GSDSW - Howl at the Moon, 225 E Idaho, Ste 9, Las Cruces, NM 88005. We must have the Financial Assistance form completed and returned to us by April 1, 2024. 
 

If you will be volunteering for a discount, please pay the $50 deposit and email info@gsdsw.org with your name and that you would like to volunteer. Complete the volunteer form and return it by April 1, 2024, so we can adjust total due for discount.
 

If your Girl Scout received this trip as a cookie reward, please make the $50 deposit to hold her spot and $50 deposit to hold the chaperone's spot. You will be refunded when the rewards are fully processed.

Meals and lodging are provided. You will need to bring linens (bedding and bath towels), toiletries, appropriate clothing/shoes. A packing list will be emailed before the event. Lodging is dormitory style with up to 24 beds in each room. Each room will have its own shower and toilet facilities. Males and females will be housed in different lodging. *NOTE: There will be no males allowed in any female room at any time. If helping with luggage, luggage must be dropped off / picked up at the doorway. 
 

You will receive your schedule of events and lodging information upon check in at Bonita Park on Friday, May 3, 2024, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm MT. 
 

You will be sent a packing list closer to the event. If you are registering for your troop, please share the information with your parents.
 

You will receive an email with a list of activity choices based upon the level of your Girl Scout. This will also include your t-shirt size. NOTE: This form MUST be completed and returned to GSDSW by April 1, 2024. If this form is not completed and returned, your Girl Scout may not receive the activities she wants or the correct t-shirt size.
