Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest is going on an adventure and we want YOU to join. GSDSW Council travel group is inviting registered Girl Scouts and adults to travel around the world with us. Girls must be 12 years old at the time of the trip to participate.
In 2023, we went to Europe on an 11 day tour! Three European cities. Two WAGGGS Centers. One amazing tour. Girl Scouts experienced the best of both worlds as incredible adventures took them through the bustling streets of London, the museums of Paris, and high up into the Swiss Alps. Made special visits to Our Chalet and Pax Lodge where they participated in unique Girl Scout programming.
In 2024, we went to Galapagos Islands (Quito, Santa Cruz Island, Isabela Island, San Cristóbal Island; extension to Riobamba).
Your perspective on the world evolves when you walk in Darwin's footsteps on this fascinating archipelago.
On Isabela, Santa Cruz and San Cristóbal islands, observe the giant tortoises, finches and mockingbirds that helped solidify Darwin's theory of evolution. On mainland Ecuador, the discoveries are more culturally oriented at Quito's Independence Plaza, the Intiñan Museum and Otavalo.
