MEET AND GREET OUR BOARD
Join us for an opportunity to meet and engage with the 2024 – 2025 Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest Board of Directors. All registered adult Girl Scout members and girl members aged 14 and older are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to connect with our leadership and engage in meaningful discussions.

Location: Camp Mitre Peak, Fort Davis, Texas or via Zoom
Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM CDT
Event Details:
- Both in-person and Zoom options are available.
- Prior registration is required for participation. Register here for in-person or by zoom. Registration closes on September 29, 2024, at 5:00 PM MDT.
- To ensure a smooth discussion, please submit any questions you would like addressed by September 25, 2024, at 5:00 PM MDT. Please note that questions not submitted by this deadline will not be addressed due to time constraints.
- The meeting will include one hour to meet the board and Q&A and will conclude with one hour of socializing and networking over light refreshments. The board will answer as many submitted questions as possible. We’ll also publish answers to questions that are not able to be addressed during the event.
- After the meeting, stay for our Chuck Wagon Dinner at Camp Mitre Peak. Tickets are available for $60 per person. It’s a wonderful way to end the day, sharing a meal with fellow members and leadership. Click here to purchase tickets.

Our Board
Girls thrive in Girl Scouts. It is a safe space where girls can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges. Adults within the Movement are their champions and advocates, especially as members of our Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest Board of Directors.
Directors use their professional expertise and personal perspectives to collectively advance Girls Scouts to anticipate by providing governance oversight, assisting in the development of the strategic vision, and actively supporting fundraising efforts. As for governance volunteers, directors represent our membership and reflect its diversity, including geographic, racial/ethnic, gender, age, and socio-economic.
