Honor Troop Basics
Have you heard of Honor
Troop? Curious to learn more? Is your troop ready to earn the Honor
Troop distinction but don't know where to start? The Honor Troop
program serves as a guide for troops to ensure a well-rounded year of
Girl Scouting. It allows your troop to successfully ensure girls are
exposed to diverse girl-led leadership opportunities. Come learn the
basics and some best practices. Be ready to earn Honor Troop this

Flags
A
flag ceremony honors the American flag as the symbol of our country
and a great way to gain visibility in the community. A long-time Girl
Scout tradition, come learn the basics of flag ceremonies you can
teach your troop. Presented by Rito Delgado
Keep
Your Troop Safe
Safety should always be a top troop priority.
As your girls get older and/or want to adventure out, it's important
to keep them safe. This course will cover basic troop safety
requirements and review Safety Activity Checkpoints (SAC). Be
confident knowing that no matter what the girls decide, you will be
ready to lead them safely after this course. Presented by Margo

Journeys, Journeys, Journeys
Journeys offer an amazing Girl Scout adventure for all grade
levels. In this class we will review the basics of Journeys along,
step-by-step sample plans for sessions with the girls, and review the
different ways Journeys can be completed. ** Completing a Journey is
the first step in earning the Bronze, Silver or Gold Award* Presented

Religious Recognitions
Make this
the year your troop earns religious recognitions. Discover the My
Promise, My Faith pin available for all Girl Scouts to earn which
allows girls to further strengthen their connection between their
faith and Girl Scouts. Learn about how each religious organization
also develops and administers its own supplemental program and award

Awards
Be ready to help your Girl Scouts earn our highest
awards - Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. These awards are the
pinnacle of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. We will review them
and the steps necessary to guide your girls to Bronze, Silver, and

Have your girls been asking to go hiking,
camping, or outdoors more? Do you have questions on where to start and
how to make that happen? Come and learn about the many resources
available that can help you and how you can take your troop outdoors

Shrinky Dink
Heard of shrinky dink? Whether you have or
not, this class is for you. Join us as we create some custom items
that will inspire your own troops' creativity. Witness the power of
plastics and their properties as we shrink and play. Discover the art
and science of this fun craft that you can teach to your troop.
