Ready to take on a new Girl Scout challenge?

Become a Program Aide (PA)

Girl Scout Cadettes through Ambassadors (Grades 6 through 12) have the opportunity to share their skills passions, and experiences with younger Girl Scouts as champions for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE).

To earn the Program Aide Award, you must first attend Program Aide Training, where you will learn to work with children, to adapt activities to suit children with special needs, and how to customize activities for various environments. Afterwards, you'll put your new skills to the test with hands-on activities that will prepare you to work with younger girls in troop meeting, camp, and community and Council event settings. Then do your Leader in Action training by assisting a Brownie troop earn a Journey.

Note: This program is each afternoon, Monday - Thursday, March 11 - 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM CST. The first three days of this program will be training for the girls. On Thursday, we will do the Leader in Action portion of the training by helping a Brownie troop with a Journey.
