This Wilderness First Aid course is for you.
Safety Activity Checkpoints recommends this class whenever EMS is > 30 minutes away. The course is available to adults and to youth, age 14 years or older. It is taught by Dr. Heather Fullerton, a wilderness medicine instructor with experience teaching locally and internationally, including courses for the US Forest Service and the Wilderness Medical Society. She is also an enthusiastic member of Troop Mitre!
This is a fully in-person, 2-day WFA course, for a personalized approach with lots of hands-on practice at the El Paso Girl Scout Program Center, Saturday AND Sunday, April 25 -26, 2026, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM both days.

This course will be inside and outside - wear appropriate clothing for the weather and closed-toe shoes.
