Daisy Launch

Our Daisy Launch program begins April 1st, and is designed to give your Pre-K girl a chance to participate in activities and experience the fun and adventure that await her as a Girl Scout Daisy.  She’ll make friends, grow in confidence, and build skills that will help her in school and beyond. Girls entering Kinder or First Grade also welcome!

Daisy Activity Book

Girl Scout Daisies try lots of new things, but the thing they do best is have fun! Download the Daisy Girl Scout Launch Activity Book to get started (English or Spanish).

Current kindergarteners and first graders can become Daisies today. Join now!

What Daisies Do

Your girl’s dreams are our dreams, and we have fun making them come true together—whether she’s into climbing a tree, painting a mural, or making a robot.

When she’s a Girl Scout, doing her best is always good enough and there are no wrong answers or ideas. Let’s get started!

Daisy Girl Scouts:

■ Grow social skills through virtual or in-personal meetings with other girls their age

■ Find new ways to practice kindness, bravery, and generosity

■ Earn special badges and pins to wear as a reminder of the new skills they’re learning

■ Gain confidence and pride in their abilities

■ Learn how to run their own businesses

■ Explore the outdoors and spend time in nature

■ Try out tech and learn cyber basics that help keep them safe online

■ Discover how to help their community and make the world a better place

■ Join a circle of friendship and fun like no other

If your girl is going into kindergarten or first grade, Daisies is

for her! Sign up today or call 915-566-9433.

We are Looking for a Few Good Daisy Troop Leaders

Want to join the fun along with your new Girl Scout? As a troop leader for kindergarten and first grade Girl Scouts, you’ll expand their worlds through exciting adventures and skill building that will set them up for success in school and beyond. You’ll guide them, cheer them on, and support them as they unleash their imaginations to play, learn, and grow in life-changing ways.

Please email us at info@gsdsw.org to let us know! We'll contact you about becoming a Girl Scout troop volunteer. While you are waiting, learn how to start a Girl Scout troop.

Exclusive Event!

If you’ve ever asked how tall the world’s tallest rainbow is, laughed until your sides hurt, or helped a friend speak up for themselves, guess what? You’re a Purple Person! It sounds like you’re a Girl Scout, too. Girl Scouts and Purple People love learning about things like space dolphins, laughing at silly jokes with Grandma, and making sure the world is full of playgrounds.

Paint your world purple and join us for a virtual event on Thursday, May 19 with actor, producer, parent, and Girl Scout alum Kristen Bell, co-author of #1 New York Times bestseller The World Needs More Purple People, as she chats about what it means to be a Purple Person and completes fun activities to show off those Purple People skills.

This virtual event will air at two times on Thursday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. ET and 6:30 p.m. PT. Join early at 6 p.m. ET/PT for a special pre-show featuring Girl Scouts from across the country.

This members-only event is open to Girl Scouts who join or renew their membership from April 1 through May 13.

For more information about opportunities for older girls, please contact us at info@gsdsw.org or (915) 566-9433.
