Join us in Odessa for all the creativity, fun, and excitement racing has to offer!
Girl Scouts design and build their derby car then watch it race down the track at its top speed. All building supplies will be provided. Cars must meet building requirements to race.
The race is a one and done - one time down the track, fastest time for each Girl Scout level wins.
Awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place in each Girl Scout level and one Grand Prize winner for the fastest overall time.
Girls build their cars at the Odessa Program Center:
Friday,
April 21, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM CT
OR
Saturday,
April 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM CT
Girls receive a patch for entering the race and get to keep their derby car! (Attendance at the race is not required to compete).
