Join us at the Silver City Girl Scout Little House for all the creativity, fun, and excitement racing has to offer!
Girl Scouts design and build their derby car then watch it race down the track at its top speed. All building supplies will be provided.
Cars must meet building requirements to race.
The race is a one and done - one time down the track, fastest time overall wins.
Awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place.
Derby car building will take place Thursday, March 28, 2024,
from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM MST.
You do not need to stay for the entire time. The race is Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM MST (or until all cars raced).
You do not need to attend the race to compete.
Winners and trophy presentation will take place at the end of the race.
Girls receive a custom patch for entering the race and get to keep their derby car! (Attendance at the race is not required to compete).
